2 c. cubed cooked turkey or
chicken
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. sliced celery
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or)
cream of chicken soup
1 c. cooked green beans
Pastry for 2 crust pie
Milk
Toss turkey-chicken with flour. In saucepan cook, carrots, onion
and celery with thyme and pepper in butter until tender. Stir in
soup, meat mixture and green beans. Pour into 9 inch pastry.
Roll out remaining pastry. Cut into 1/2 inch strips. Criss cross
strips over filling to form lattice top. Brush pastry with milk.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until crust is lightly
browned.
