2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tbsp. salt and pepper
1 c. milk
2 c. finely chopped turkey
2 tbsp. minced parsley
1 pkg. seasoned coating for chicken
1 c. medium white sauce
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
Melt butter in skillet, saute onions. Add flour, salt and
pepper. Cook until thick. Add turkey and parsley. Pour into
greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Chill. Shape into balls, brush lightly
with milk. Roll balls into coating mixture, place on rack to
dry. Chill 1 hour. Bake in greased shallow pan at 400 degrees
for 20 minutes. Turn and bake 10 minutes. Serve with white sauce
to which green pepper, onion and pimento have been added. 4-6
servings.
