BAKED TURKEY
1 turkey (any size)
3 stalks celery
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg. onion, whole
1 apple, whole
Preheat oven to 475 degrees, very hot. About 9 or 10 p.m. the
night before you are planning your feast, place turkey in a
covered roaster pan with the onion, apple and celery. Add 1
quart warm water. Bake 1 hour; turn oven off but DO NOT open the
oven door. Leave all night. In the morning, your turkey will be
golden brown with plenty of broth.
