TERIYAKI CHICKEN AND PEARS
4 whole chicken breasts
1 (16 oz.) can diet pears
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Brown chicken in large pan sprayed with vegetable spray. Drain
grease. Drain pears and reserve juice. Combine juice, soy sauce,
ginger and garlic. Pour over chicken, cover and cook over medium
heat 45 minutes, turning and basting occasionally. Add pears and
cook 10-15 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender. Serves 4.
