HAM WITH SWEET POTATOES AND SPICED FRUIT

2 bananas, each cut into fourths
1 (8 oz.) can sliced peaches
1 (8 oz.) can sliced pears
12 maraschino cherries, cut into halves
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1-1/2 lb. fully cooked boneless smoked ham
1 (23 oz.) can sweet potatoes, drained and cut into halves
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard

Mix bananas, peaches (with syrup), pears (with syrup), cherries and pumpkin pie spice. Remove 1/2 cup syrup from fruit mixture; reserve. Refrigerate fruit mixture. Place ham on ungreased oblong baking dish, 12x7x2 inches, or square baking dish 8x8x2 inches. Arrange sweet potatoes around ham. Mix brown sugar, reserved fruit syrup and the mustard; pour over ham and potatoes. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven, spooning sauce onto ham and potatoes occasionally, 30 minutes. Drain fruit mixture; arrange on top of and around ham. Cook uncovered 15 minutes.
