Onion Barbecue Glaze 

1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
3/4 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 (12 oz.) jar peach or apricot preserves

In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Use as a glaze on spare ribs, chops, kabobs, steaks, burgers and chicken. Just brush on during last half of cooking. Makes 2-1/2 cups.
